Very recently, within the span of two weeks I encountered two very different kinds of hustlers. I tried very desperately to teach each of these people a lesson about hard work and honesty, but surprisingly got two extremely different results. This experience has given me the opportunity to understand the underbelly of the hustling world, to really dig in and get up close and personal with these unsavory individuals. During my recent experiences, I have learned that not all hustlers are unscrupulous characters. Some of these hustlers actually have a moral code, there are ethics to their dealings and a general sense of honor in their dealings. Of course the two hustlers that I encountered are none other than my very own children; Tre & Ty. They both had angles to work recently, only one of them went about it in a way that can only be described as COMPLETELY SHADY!!! For the remainder of this post these hustlers will be known as hustler #1 & hustler #2; I’ll let you judge for yourself which child is associated with what hustle.

It’s been a long time…I shouldn’t of left you, without a dope blog to laugh to.

Aaliyah – Try Again (Snippet)

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

I want you guys to click play, close your eyes & imagine me performing this song using my improv lyrics noted above while attempting a very detailed Aaliyah dance routine. Okay, maybe you can scratch the dance routine part, that would probably turn this vision into a nightmare.

But you get the point, it’s been a very long time since I’ve put out a new post & I’m sorry for that. It’s been a busy few weeks getting the house in order & quite frankly, I’m a bit exhausted & all housed out. Don’t get me wrong, this was one of the funnest moves of my life. Mainly because we had movers doing all of the hard work, but also because it was a ball picking out new furniture & organizing & decorating the various rooms throughout the house.

But many of my hobbies (including blogging) were put on the back burner while we were in extreme make over mode. It actually wasn’t that extreme, the house was in very good shape; it just took forever to get things semi close to how we wanted. Right now, I’d say that we’re about 80-85% complete, and seeing as how we held our first party last weekend, I’d say it’s the perfect time to get back to doing the things I love, mainly entertaining you guys via this blog.

Now that I’m back in the saddle, expect some pent up blogging aggression to be unleashed unto the interwebs at a lightening pace. You can expect to be laughing your ass off at stories such as “Unintended Consequences”, “Power Of A Dollar”, and “Age Ain’t Nothin But A Number” (Hey Aaliyah).  We’ve also got a few toy reviews in the works as well. Your kids love Beyblades? We’ve got a review coming up. How about wooden train sets? We’ll be giving you the low down on those as well. Thanks for your patience, as you can see, we’re picking up right where we left off & coming back better than ever; hopefully it’s been worth the wait. Ah who am I kidding, it’s definitely worth the wait!
