Fefe's First Harvest
As you can see from the vid, tomatoes really aren’t my thing, but I love my wife & support her in all that she does. So I bit the bullet & bit the tomato. Contrary to my facial expressions, it was the best tomato that I’ve tasted in my lifetime. Keep in mind that I have only eaten but a handful of tomatoes in my life & each time there was literally a shotgun pointed in my direction with the threat of violence. Okay, not a shotgun, but a small handgun can also cause significant damage.
All kidding aside, she really has done a great job. I should have recorded a video of the first time I ate the green beans from the garden, they were excellent. Most of the things that she planted, I honestly don’t care for, but those green beans could keep on coming and you’d never hear me complain. It’s been a fun experience so far, watching her get so excited when crops sprout up, I honestly don’t think there is anyone who could have been happier about a measly 20 peas. Don’t believe me, just look at the picture below. She was so ecstatic that her peas had popped up that waiting was not an option. Those peas would be picked, cooked, and ate all within a span of 12hrs. Remember, there are 4 of us in this family, do you have any idea how unsatisfying it is to eat only FIVE peas? Well actually, Fefe & I had 6 peas a piece. We cut the boys rations down a bit since we’re the ones who put in all the hard work, damn right WE were gonna enjoy the fruits of our labor, literally.

She actually cooked this smh
So as it turns out, my wife does actually have a green thumb. She loves her garden and is quite good at it, so I applaud her and all of her efforts. She’s successfully harvested green beans, peas (regardless of the quantity, peas were harvested), lettuce, cucumbers, and a cantaloupe is just about ready to be picked. She’s even given out a few cucumbers to friends and lo and behold we’re all still alive and kicking! Besides the upset stomachs that Tre and I have, everything’s been exceptionally painless. Matter of fact, for the sake of continued praise to my wife; let’s just say that stomach bug that Tre & I caught was totally unrelated to her garden.

We went from this

TO THIS!!! Great Job Babe
Honey I see you had a few jokes in there but thanks for giving me the praise. You helped me out a lot in the garden and I truly appreciate it. Next year we will have more things that you like in their, promise!! Thanks for trying everything even though you don’t like half of the stuff. By the way honey, tomatoes are considered a fruit because it has seeds. Don’t remember that episode from Hip Hop Harry

@Melisa with one S, LMAO, you have no idea how hard I had to fight so that I wouldn’t vomit. I think a support group is in order “PAT – Parents Against Tomatoes”
