My daughter was recently at the Mall of NH with her friend and her friend’s mom, she competed and was picked. She was so excited and couldn’t wait to tell me the good news. Well after doing a lot of research and hearing from one of my friend’s that they are scam artists I told her that she couldn’t go any further with them. I don’t understand how a legit modeling agency allows a minor without a parent to compete in the first place. Well my daughter does not want to believe that this agency is not reputable and is very upset with me and believes that it is just because I do not want to support her and that is not the case. I hope this company realizes the damage they are causing to families.

I’m a sister of a seven years old girl. My sister and parents got a called from American Model Search yesterday, and my sister went on stage as well. I didn’t know anything about this matter until they already pay for the photoshoot because I am away for college. I called my mom as usual, so she tld me about what happen. I was so pissed because I didn’t think that a ligit modeling would get you to pay anything, especially to be advance in the competition. However, my dad and my sister already got hope in this “mess.” I study science, so I don’t know much about this modeling business. Please tell me more about characteristic of a ligit modeling so I can help my sister with her dream of becoming a model. Thank you.
