@ciara, we got the standard edition and are loving it so far. I hope it brings as much excitement to you and your husband as it has to us. I hope your husband joins in on the fun more often, I'm sure it'll grow on in. We love our Wii, its great cause it keeps our oldest active.

i’m not much of gamer unless it comes to two types: fitness and musical games ie rock band, guitar hero. i figure i waste enough time sitting at the computer that i didn’t need to sit around playing games until the wii. my husband bought me one for christmas last yr and while i know it’s not as graphically great as ps3 or xbox 360, i am required to move around at times. part of the reason i love it so much. i finally got my hubs to play the wii w me last wk, that was the one & only time he’s played w me so far lol i’m wanting the special edition beatles rock band but i’ll settle for the regular set. wonder if my hubs will play if we have that. we used to play rock band 2 on stepson’s 360. it’s good that your wife has taken an interest…has she tried to beat you yet? lol ;0)

so which edition did ya get?

@Henry, Ah, good ol' "Sports Resort". Definitely a family favorite in our house. I like it because the kids can get involved and we can make it a family event. Let me know if you guys try "Rock Band".

Great story. I am going to have to get my wife to try “Rock Band”. She never played video games until we got a “Wii”. Her latest addiction is “Sports Resort”. Personally, I think she just loves hitting me over the head in fencing.

I can definitely relate to this. After getting “Little Big Planet”, “Mario Kart”, and “Guitar Hero” Elena is a certified gamer. It’s rare that we don’t get it in for at least a half hour a day!

Awww. That’s a great story guys. Don’t feel bad Fefe, I’m still not into video games except for a few Wii games. Maybe I just haven’t found the right game for me yet.
